Who needs an e-Visa for Armenia?
As mentioned above, citizens of eligible countries must obtain an e-Visa before entering Armenia. However, there are a few exceptions, notably for holders of a valid visa or residence permit issued by one of the Schengen countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or the United Arab Emirates. European and American citizens

How do I obtain an e-Visa for Armenia?
The e-Visa application process is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
- Go to Official website of the Armenian government dedicated to e-Visa or site of a renowned agency
- Complete the application form, giving your personal details, contact details, passport details and the dates and purpose of your stay.
- Pay the application fee online using a bank card
- Receive confirmation by e-mail and wait for a reply
Once the application has been approved, the applicant will receive a PDF document containing the e-Visa, which must be printed and presented to the border authorities on arrival in Armenia.
Documents required to apply for an e-Visa
When applying for an e-Visa, travellers must provide the following documents:
- A valid passport with an expiry date at least 3 months after the end of the planned stay in Armenia
- A recent digital photo that meets international standards for passport photos
- Arrival and departure flight details (if applicable)
